Overview
On July 28, 1958, a group of former Haitian officers from Florida (USA) landed in Délugé, north of the capital of Haiti. In no time, they conquered the "Casernes Dessaline" located behind the National Palace. Their plan: to overthrow the President, Dr. François Duvalier elected a year earlier.
