Clémence is a young woman who has been suffering from depression since her partner left her. The oppressive loneliness drives her to ask her friend Céleste, an art student, to move in with her. Céleste agrees, but her drawings and paintings are gloomy and dark, reflecting her traumatic past. These works become increasingly present in the apartment, to the point of psychologically destabilizing Clémence. The young woman gradually sinks into madness and becomes convinced that the entities her roommate draws are coming to life around her and attacking her. At her wit's end, Clémence ends up destroying all of Céleste's works, allowing Céleste to realize her friend's deep unhappiness. They then promise to do everything they can to help each other through difficult times.
