Overview

Young female writer Wen Yiqing received a writing invitation from Shanghai. Olivia Qiu, a 32-year-old teahouse owner, hoped that Wen would write a novel based on her story with her late mentor, Mrs Choi. Three years ago, Mrs Choi was diagnosed with cancer. Olivia regretted her years of estrangement and dropped everything to rush to Mrs Choi’s bedside. They stayed together for a year until Mrs. Choi passed away. After that, Olivia received a mysterious box filled with postcards and letters she had sent to Mrs. Choi in the past, as well as reply letters that Mrs Choi had never sent… Wen, as a story recorder wandering in the unfamiliar city, met a stranger with very different personalities but sympathetic to each other.
