Overview

In 1970s Yushuwan, a mixed Mongolian-Han village near the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, four mischievous boys—Daxiang, Jingui, Lide, and Tala—experience childhood adventures amidst scarcity. The construction of a Beijing-bound railway sparks village competition for lucrative work points, symbolizing dreams of the capital for both children and adults.
