Sacred Mt. Ali and the Forest Railway

Overview

This gorgeous documentary focuses on Mount Ali, a chain of peaks in Taiwan Province, home to a number of scenic and tourist sights, including stunning sunrises, the Alishan Sacred Tree and the Grand Sea of Clouds, all viewable by the Forest Railway. The railway winds for 72 kilometers, from 98 feet to a height of 8,038 feet above sea level through spectacular scenery and climate zones ranging from subtropical to frigid.
