Overview

In southern Saxony-Anhalt, filmmaker Silvio meets Dieter and Norbert. Their villages, Grunau, Domsen, and Großgrimma, were abandoned in the late 1990s. Only they remained. Between 2003 and 2014, they are visited and interviewed regularly and talk about their lives in their ghost villages and their farewell, which is slowly but surely approaching.
