Overview
It starts between two children: Júlia and Augusto. He comes back later, after graduating, and they revive the flame of yore. Júlia's father refuses Augusto's request and contracts her marriage with a farmer, his friend. The girl is poisoned. Her father injures Augusto. Julia does not die, because she has only taken a narcotic.
