In Walbrzych (Waldenburg), in the Lower Silesian coal area, the mines are closed. Lukasz and his friend Jacek are now mining the coal on their own. For years. Like hundreds of other coal woodpeckers, they illegally dig for the black gold outside the city gates. The police are always on their heels, but they keep going.
