Overview

A 1978 documentary short by Jackie Sharp about the skater lifestyle featuring skaterboarders Kent Santore, Marc Smith and Jerry Valdez. Shot at locations including Ida’s restaurant, skate-spot “the Cage” in Watts, and at Southern California skateparks Oxnard, Marina, and Lakewood. It was filmed as a UCLA School of Cinema project and features music by Elvis Costello. It is currently a part of the Jackie Sharp Collection at the USC Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Collection.
