Overview

Erica Julien, age 71, embarks on a journey to qualify for the US Veteran’s World Fencing Team. This leads her from her home in Wilmington, NC back to the German town she was born in as a refugee shortly after World War II. In this coming of age story Erica must come to terms with her birth, her history, modern romance and her place in the world all while sword fighting for the world championship.
