Digital Domain created the visual effects for Clint Eastwood's 2006 film, Flags of Our Fathers, with the goal of creating a photo-realistic look for the battle of Iwo Jima. Rather than relying on traditional effects, the film used "invisible effects" that were seamlessly integrated into the live-action footage
