Asri Welas

Hj. Asri Pramawati , better known as Asri Welas (born March 7, 1979) is an Indonesian actress, model, comedian, presenter, entrepreneur, dancer, radio announcer, and designer.

Since she was two years old, Asri has loved dance. In 1989, Asri joined as a dancer in the GSP Production art group owned by Guruh Soekarnoputra . Her love of dancing inspired Asri to establish a dance studio called Sanggar Asri Welas.

Asri's name began to be known since playing the character Welas, who is Bang Tigor's wife in the comedy situation Suami-suami Takut Istri in 2007. The success of this role made Asri use the stage name Asri Welas in various soap operas and subsequent films.
