Overview

Set in modern-day Baku, the story of two young lovers from vastly different financial backgrounds. Against the backdrop of a city divided by language and class, the film explores the contrast between those who pride themselves on speaking only Russian and those who, despite their struggles, strive to express themselves in Azerbaijani — revealing the deeper tensions of identity, pride, and belonging.
