To answer this question, we must go back to the time when her grandson and the film's director fell ill with leukemia as a child. Pavel recovered, but his friend Honzík was not so lucky. No suitable bone marrow donor could be found for him. Since then, "Grandma Chance" has been literally "going for the bone marrow" and, with never-ending enthusiasm, has been spreading awareness and working intensively to expand the bone marrow donor registry for more than 25 years.
