"In 1993 Your Father-In-Law Told Me a Joke..." recounts a joke that filmmaker Roger Horn’s father-in-law told his Ukrainian friends, a retired couple, Evgeniy and Elena that once seemed harmless and amusing, but is now all too real. Shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine they were forced to flee their home in the middle of the night.
