An elderly woman recalls her childhood in Macate, a hidden town in the highlands of Áncash. From that same place came Artemio Ocaña —one of the most renowned Peruvian sculptors— and Claudio Cordero Cerna, father of the documentary’s director. Two years after the passing of his grandfather, Marcelo Cordero, barely a year old, travels to Macate with his family to discover the land of his ancestors.
