The story centers around a family dinner. The mother organizes a birthday meal for her younger son. However, the father arrives late, and the daughter is distracted by her phone. As dinner progresses, each family member's hidden worries begin to surface. The family try to finds a way to finish the meal together, despite the emotional strain.
