Despite the fact that they were friends as children, Kishan (Rajesh Khanna) and Mary (Teena Munim) have become bitter rivals after building successful but separate careers by conning people out of their money. Tensions flare when they both target the wealthy queen of Chandpur, Mary is mistaken for the queen's granddaughter, and Kishan joins the people of Chandpur in fighting the evil diwan.
