Egyptian student Ahmed studies in Paris, where he meets the Russian dancer, Nicole, marries her, and brings her to Egypt. Ahmed's fiancée, Salma, is shocked to find Nicole with him and breaks off the engagement. Nicole works in a nightclub in Alexandria run by a Russian gang leader and begins to exploit Ahmed.
