Alice is a grieving childless mother. Her deepest desire is to be with her lost child. Alice's grief manifests itself as Echo - a much wanted but imagined memory. As Echo draws Alice into her world - underwater -- for a brief moment of joy, Alice is united with Echo...before having to choose....
