Javier Martínez

Javier Martínez studied at the University of Granada and at the School of Film and Television at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he obtained a Fulbright scholarship and the Student Academy Award, among other awards. He lives in Madrid and works as a scriptwriter and creative director of animated series (Iron Kid, 2007; Mica, 2014; Emmy & GooRoo, 2020) and production supervisor (Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas, 2019; Dragonkeeper, 2021).

He has also tackled children's illustrated albums and youth novels, with works such as the saga of the detective Mina San Telmo (Edebé) and the horror novel El autor de este libro es un zombi, a finalist for the Premio Everest de literatura juvenil.
