Léo Louvel

Born in 2004 in Lyon, Léo Louvel is a French writer-director and film producer whose work explores eroticism, religion and tenderness. Often shot on Super 8 and other film formats, his cinema embraces a tactile aesthetic and close collaborations with friends and artists including cinematographer Benoît Chaieb, director Luck Abidine, and actress Maewenne Declerieux, as well as the film collective Dressed To. His first short film, Timides Intentions, follows a young filmmaker whose love for Blow Out is challenged by an unexpected encounter.
