Életrajz

Alexandra Stan went on to study at the Traian Secondary School and the Faculty of Management Andrei Saguna. Stan was invited to sing for the first time on a television show when she was 15 years old. 2009 ended up being a pretty fruitful year for Alexandra. Along with participating at the Mamaia Music Festival, she also released her first promotional single, titled "Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)," aka just "Lollipop." By early 2010, the song was already being played on mainstream radio stations in Europe (particularly Germany), which prompted her to release a new track, "Show Me the Way," that very same summer. She had also began touring in Romania. In September 2010, Alexandra premiered her second official single, "Mr. Saxobeat," which would go on to become her most successful single to date. The song not only topped Romanian charts for eight consecutive weeks, it also gained notoriety worldwide, peaking at 3 in the U.K. (the highest ever for a Romanian artist), as well as in the top 30 in both the U.S. and Canada.
