Eric Sze

Chef and co-owner of notable restaurants 886 and Wenwen, bringing the taste of Taiwanese-inspired cuisine to New York City through bold flavors. 886 opened in July of 2018, rising to quick acclaim as one of the only representations of modern Taiwanese cuisine in the city. In 2021, Sze won prestigious awards including Eater’s New Guard and Forbes 30 Under 30 in Food & Drink. In 2022, after much delays and deliberation, Wenwen was brought to life. Similar to 886, Wenwen received immediate critical success including favorable reviews from Eater, The Infatuation, as well as a glowing two-star review from The New York Times.
