Phayu, heartbroken after a recent breakup, attempts to move on by pursuing new relationships. However, he's haunted by visions of his ex-girlfriend May. To break the curse, it seems he'll have to locate a wishing Ema plaque May left in Japan which reads "Please make Phayu love me forever." Phayu travels to Kawagoe, Japan, where an unlucky Japanese woman named Satsuki crashes into him on her scooter and becomes his reluctant guide on his quest for the mysterious Ema plaque.
